This is Tada (my then-1- year-old son's version of the word 'Teddy'). Tada was ds's 2nd word. Da-da 1st and then Ta-da. 'Mommy' finally rolled off his tongue just before he turned 2. This bear gave me many nights of rest and calmed my little one even when i couldn't. He's a little ratty looking now -- with 'barely there' eyes and 'flat as a pancake' body -- but he's my DS's best friend...and yes, he still calls him that....and secretly, i hope he never stops :)

I LOVE THIS SHOT!!! The color is fantastic!!! What a doll :)

Oh...precious! I love how kids attach them to security items, don't you? It's just such a simple display of trust and love. Thank you for sharing and I like the conversion here, really adds to the timelessness of his Tada.

This is priceless, so sweet...and a great picture to look back on someday. Your son looks so boyish and then has his teddy, it's so sweet. TFS!
