So i guess you can tell i didn't take this today- but it has water!! Taken with my p&s - before i got my DSLR so i won't write the settings down. This is a photo of my goddaughter from the summer that i thought i'd try and convert it. Whenever i do a conversion i just play with all the sliders until i get something i like. That's my problem...i can never do the same conversion over!! I really like the conversion on the faucet water i posted from a few days ago but i can't remember the numbers that i used for it....AND i flatten all my photos before saving so i don't even have the .PSD files to go back and check. So, now i'm trying to write things down. Yesterday's conversion seemed like it didn't have enough tones in it. I don't know...what do you prefer? monday, tues, wed or this?

I did really like the faucet conversion. It was perfection... This one is nice, too. It's a great shot... I find myself liking the more contrasty (is that a word?) black and whites. I think playing around with it is the key. You'll figure it out, maybe notice a pattern and soon you'll be wowing the world with your conversions every time!

I love this. I loved your faucet picture - excellent conversion. However; I love this conversion too - both have very different feels to them and they are both wonderful!

elegant shot. Love how you make people think about what she could be thinking. Great conversion.
