I know there's some story behind this building and i'd love to tell it to you but unfortunately, i don't know it !! I know it's called 'the Skinny Building' or something like that and it's photographed by a lot of pro photographers. I'm sure, none of whom got a dump truck smack dab in the middle of the shot!!!!! lol!! -- i had to stand in the middle of the street for this and i still couldn't get a decent shot. So....no history lesson here...just a skinny building and a dump truck in the heart of Toronto.
Don't mind the really bad 'eraser' job on the plates. Forgot last minute to scrub it out....so you get the rush job. Besides, that would also mean i would have to read up on erasing in PSE4. Anyone know how to do it neatly? I just clicked on the eraser and rubbed away.
Resized both and ran USM on 1st photo.

Photo #1 is awesome even with the dumptruck! I LOVE it...
Photo # 2.. that has got to be the wierdest but coolest looking backside of a building. You need to get the story on this!!
I'm intrigued!

hey, the building looks skinnier from the front than the back (sort of like me huh). i still think you did a good job with the shot. and i truly didn't see the truck until you pointed it out. i was focusing on the top of the building. i don't know why i keep thinking you live in houston? then again, there's any place with tall building would look like houston to me (heehee). tfs.

What a beautiful, unique building! I'm sure its hard to get a perfect shot with the way it's shaped and the streets and all, you did a great job!!!TFS!

That is a VERY cool building! I agree with Cristina... I didn't even notice the dump truck! I was too busy looking at the top part of the building. Hope you find some info on that place!
