...for the first time. I got this as a present from my DH and i haven't been able to set it up and play until today. I finally was able to take some pictures with it and test it out with the kids tonight....also tried to see if i'd have better luck with conversion to B & W from raw. I think i prefer the top conversion - the bottom one looks too dark...what do you think?

Oohhh they are both great! I like the top one better as well. The contrast looks nicer to me. These photos are perfect!

Oh, these are gorgeous. Your kids are adorable and the pose is great. So sweet and innocent! The coloring is wonderful. I think both look good. To me the second one is not dark (although I have learned that my screen is lighter than other people's), but I do like the first one a tiny bit better in terms of light.

I actually like the second conversion better... you didn't lose as much depth as in the lighter picture...

I think I like the coloring in the top one, but I love the expressions in the bottom one. Your daughter especially looks adorable. Great job!
