...sewing. It's my other passion that i've had since i was young. So amidst my camera equipment you'll find yards of fabric, thread, ribbon, beads and 4 beautiful sewing machines. I haven't had much time for it lately but i looooove to sew - making one of a kind dresses and accessories for my little E. However....if you were to ask me to make a dress for myself i'd be completly lost (even with a pattern)!!
Adjusted white balance in the 1st photo(with a grey card!!!!), defog, sharpen, resized and added border.
This is what i call, 'My Beautiful Mess '.

This is very cool. I really love the second one. Great composition and cool fabrics. Off topic here, but I also have to say that I love your watermark. Is that a font you created or one you downloaded? I like it.

Very good shots. I love your compositionn on them. I love to sew too. I also love Amy Butler and Michael Miller Fabrics. I'm jealous of your sewing space, but I love your pictures.

Wow, terrific shots, the bokeh, the colours! Tell me...where did you get your grey card? Do you feel it made a considerable difference from just shooting something white in the room and setting it to your Custom White Balance?

ps...i LOVE your header...very nice

Thanks for the comments everyone!!...i know...i love the colors too!!
Ingrid - i actually got the card as a present from dh (along with my strobes)!! nice,eh?!?!? now...too bad he doesn't know a thing about light meters!!...good thing it's a new year - that means another birthday is coming =). Anyhooo...I do love the grey card!!..i find it way easier - you still have to take a picture of it, but you don't have to go into your camera settings to set the WB before you start shooting. So much easier to do it post-processing.
julie - My dh does all our PC stuff and he actually created the watermark(???-is that what it's called??) for me (in PS!!). Don't know where all this stuff comes from but it's there!! hahaha!!
mom2girlies - OMG!!...sounds like you're a fabric junkie too!! lol!! Sewing space?!?! girl - that's the big mess in the corner of {{CRINGE}} our dining room!! 'The mess' moves from dining room to play room and back. Can you tell where our priorities are? Priorites=our kids & FOOD!!
Adrienne - i tried to post to your blog again last night but got the same restriction message(maybe i tried too soon(???) and you hadn't changed the settings yet). I'll head over to your blog later and try again.
Yvonne - i'd love to see what i make too!!...that's if i make something - i can never find any time for it anymore!! With this photo a day challenge, the only way i see myself taking out my sewing machines would be to take pictures of them!! lol!!
