I really just liked the neat trolley in the back. I had to crop out part of the phone on the left (there was a person standing there - don't think they'd appreciate being on my blog!! lol!!) - so that's why part of the 1st phone got cut. Think i should have totally removed it? I also think the photo's not as crisp as it should be. HHCC please!!!

I love this type of photography. I agree with you, it is a little soft but I think bumping the contrast some will take care of it.

A little soft, but I still like it! I agree to bump up the contrast a bit. I've always wanted to live in a bit city.

I really like street scene photos! I think you're right, it's a bit soft - would have liked the phones a bit sharper (are you focusing and recomposing?) I love the trolley in the background, I would totally leave it in! Great shot!

Hi Cherry,
The photo is a bit soft but the composition is great. Love the conversion to black and white. What exactly were you focusing on?
Anyhoo, overall a good job(....do you every 'not'take a good picture?...) Your picture make me want to visit.

Love this pic. I think the composition works well, even with some of the second phone missing. Love the B & W. Great street shots

I think your composition is fine, even with the one phone partially cropped. The viewer's eye travels well within the photo.
I love playing "trourist-for-the-moment" It is also very fun to see your city from the view of someone who lives there.

What a cool shot!
I can feel the downtown energy just looking at it!

Hey, if you hadn't said anything about the phone, I'd had thought you cut it out on purpose! The comp is GREAT! All your pics are REAL good!

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments...
Yvonne....you really know how to make an amateur feel good !!
Sara - it is kinda cool!! but...i don't live there anymore - i just work there. I do miss the energy of it all but where we are now is such a great place for the kids to grow up.
It's funny cause the more photos i post of the city the more i think, 'hey wait a sec...IT IS kinda nice!!'. When you're exposed to something too much - you tend to take things for granted.
