I snapped this while my ds just got off the rink. Ankle burner?!?!?...is that what they call it? He's just too cute. My 4 y.o on skates. What's even funnier is my 2 y.ol daughter on skates...and let me tell you, she has better balance than i do =).
I love the composition of this photo even though it's really soft. I tried to save it and ran USM...

I really like the blur, to me it shows the unsteady feet on the skates. Great capture!

This is great...reminds me of the one and only time I attempted ice skating!!! And I am in complete awe that you hand-held---you're my hero :D!!
