100 Things

In the spirit of 'Week One - Introductions'  i have decided to join my fellow peas on the '100 things about me'.

Here goes...(i may have to come back to finish this list!! lol!!)

1. I have black hair.
2. I sometimes have black hair with highlights depending on how I’m feeling when I’m at the hairdressers.
3. I have black eyes.
4. I am 32.
5. I’m turning 33 {{OMG!!}} in a a couple of months.
6. I love birthdays…
7. ...especially mine.  I like to call it ‘BirthWeek’.
8. I am a mother.
9. I am a mother to 2 wonderful children who are the light of my life.
10. I am a wife to my best friend .
11. We've been married for 7 years.
12. We honeymooned in Cali and Hawaii for 3 weeks.
13. I have 2 older brothers or should i say I have 3 fathers????
14. I had my first born, my little boy, when I was 28.
15. He’s not so little anymore =(.
16. My little girl will always be “My little Princess’ even when she’s not so little.
17. I love feet…..especially my kids’.
18. They sometimes smell…yes their feet (but sometimes them too)!! Lol!!
19. …but I still love it!!---the feet and them!!
20. I am Canadian (hey... don't i sound like a beer commercial?!??! lol!!)
21. My parents are originally from the Philippines.
22. I can't speak filipino at all.
23. ...but i can understand every word --- go figure.
24. I love our home and i love decorating it.
25. we just painted our powder room...or should i say 'I painted'?!??
26. It takes me forever to paint.
27. it took me forever to paint that bathroom - it's only 4' x 3'.
28. I love shabby chic
29. I love French country.
30. By day i'm a computer geek - systems analyst/developer.
31. I have a degree in Commerce majoring in Information systems.
32. I minored in communications
33. I took french from grade 1 up until university (i took my last class when i was 20).
34. I used to be able to understand, read and speak french.
35. Now i can't --- didn't anyone ever tell you, 'Practice, practice, practice!!'.
36. I regret not practicing.
37. I am always on the computer. 
38. I think i would be lost without my computer.
39. When I get into something - i fall in deep - hook, line and sinker.
40. I discovered that i love being a mother so much that we think about me staying home with the kids all the time.
41. I would LOVE to do that - we're not really sure what's stopping us.
42. I love having a boy and a girl - a buddy for J and one for me.
43. I love to shop
44. I love to eat - boy, do i love to eat!!
45. My favourite foods are Tatters n'Cream (sour cream, fries, bacon bits and chives) and tiramisu.
46. i have 2 cups of coffee a day ---from tim hortons --even on weekends.
47. when i'm at home i make lattes --with cinammon on top.
48. I LOVE....LOVE...LOVE (did i say LOVE?!?!? ) Pepsi.  just check out my post from yesterday=)
49. In the summer i love to garden.
50. In the winter i love to snowboard but i haven't gone in 2 seasons.
51. I play the piano.
52. I love to sew.
53. I love to make outfits for my little E - dresses, hair accessories and jewelry.
54. I have a fabric addiction - can't help myself!!...they're just so pretty!!
55. I don't drink - only on occasion.  Not because i don't like it but because i don't have anyone to drink with - both my best friends are pregnant!!
56. We're still unsure about having a 3rd....if it's God's will it will happen.
57. My best friend is Barb (...and no, she is not the bf that i am married to in #10!! lol!!) - i've known her since we were in high school.  we were 16 when our friendship began.
58. We were pregnant together - both times.  Both of our children are only weeks apart. Our first borns are 6 weeks apart and our 2nd are 12 weeks apart.
59. Right now i'm thinking...'wow, this is one heck of a long list!!'
60. Our first family trip was to Disney world - this was before my dd was born
61. Our most recent family trip was to Punta Cana in the Dom. Rep.
62. I've also been to the Philippines, Puerto Vallarta & Cuba.
63. When i was 21 , my best friend and i went to Vegas & LA - we had a blast.
64. i can't wait to go on another trip with the kids now that E's a little older.
65. We live in the suburbs - we've been here for the last 7 yrs.
66. I grew up downtown in the city - T. Dot (Toronto).
67. I am a city girl at heart - i love hearing the sound of the streetcars in the morning when i'm laying in bed.
68. I don't fix or blow dry my hair.
69. I don't wear much make-up except lipstick...
70. ...because i don't know how to put the stuff on!! lol!! (without looking like a clown!!).
71. I hate when people gossip.
72. I hate that i can't lose weight.
73. I hate being cold.
74. I am ALWAYS cold
75. I hope my kids know how much i love them.
76. I want to be their best friend....or at least one of their good ones.
77. I love to watch & hear my kids playing & giggling together.
78. My kids are such good kids.
79. Sometimes i forget just how good they really are.
80. Everyday i try and be a better mom than i was yesterday
81. ...of course, it doesn't always happen.
82. I need to tell my kids and dh how much i appreciate them more.
83. I love reading
84. I love chick flicks and teenie bop movies!
85. I ride the train everyday to work but drive to the train station.
86. My train ride is 40 mintues or 20 minutes express.
87. I love riding the train because i get to sleep...i LOVE sleep.
88. I always fall asleep on the train.
89. We don't go to church as often as we should.
90. Nobody knows i have this thing for photography - except dh but he doesn't count (and of course all y'all peas!!) - not even my best friend or my family.  They see me taking all these pictures but i never show them or tell them why i do it.
91. i don't know why i haven't told anyone...maybe i'm scared they'll laugh and call me crazy...
92. I'm glad i found 2 peas....it's the only place where i feel i don't have to hide.
93. Nobody knows i blog either - not even my family - except of course dh, again.
94. I'm soooo addicted to blogging.
95. I can't stand messes....
96. ...but i make a mess everywhere i go!!
97. i'm a worrier.
98. I'm a dreamer.
99. We have storytime with the kids before we go to bed.
100. ...and we also say our prayers with them every night.

Love your list!! Thanks for sharing about yourself. I know what you mean about sharing the "photography fever" with others. It's a little intimidating... :) I'm glad you found 2peas, too!! And, great feet pic. The composition is perfect! You have an awesome, very obvious talent. Think about sharing it with a few more people. You will bless them by it!

thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us cherry. i like your photo of the feet. though i'd never take one with MY feet in it (they're horrible).
